About the Role

The Company is in search of a Dean for its School of Business, a role that demands a strategic, innovative, and collaborative leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for articulating and advancing a strategic vision that enhances the school's standing and impact. The School of Business is dedicated to providing a virtues-based education, rooted in the principles of uncompromising integrity, and is committed to preparing students to lead in the business world with a focus on critical thinking, authenticity, and the pursuit of truth. The Dean will oversee a dynamic community of nearly 2,000 undergraduate and 175 graduate students, as well as a large faculty and staff, and must be adept at working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's School of Business must hold a Ph.D. or terminal degree in a related field and be qualified for tenure at the rank of full professor. The role requires a leader who is not only academically accomplished but also deeply committed to the mission of the institution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in an academic setting, with the ability to foster a culture of academic excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and engaged learning. Experience in business education, a strong understanding of the values-based educational model, and a background that aligns with the school's emphasis on practical, team-centered skills are essential. The Dean will be expected to work closely with faculty, staff, students, and various external partners, including the Business Advisory Council and the Dominican community, to ensure the continued success and growth of the School of Business.
