Client Success Associate

Are you a relationship-builder who thrives on keeping clients happy, projects moving, and details on point? J2 Building Consultants is looking for a Client Success Associate to join our team and help ensure every client experience is smooth, positive, and memorable.

In this role, youll be part relationship manager, part proposal writer, and part event pro. Youll connect with clients, prepare winning proposals, and help showcase J2s expertise at in-person events, all while working closely with our Client Success Manager to grow relationships and uncover new opportunities.

WHAT YOULL DO

Prepare Winning Proposals

Prepare clear, tailored proposals using our established process and templates - covering scope, timelines, pricing, and deliverables - while making sure our value shines through. Track and follow up on proposals to keep the momentum going.

Be a Client Champion

Serve as a go-to contact for clients during and after projects, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and satisfied. Gather feedback to help us keep improving and strengthening relationships.

Represent J2 in the Field

Attend industry events, trade shows, and client appreciation gatherings to promote our services, network with prospects, and strengthen connections. Help plan and execute these events for maximum impact.

Collaborate Across Teams

Work closely with our marketing, production, and leadership teams to align efforts, solve problems, and ensure clients get the best possible service from start to finish.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

13 years of client-facing experience (construction, architecture, or consulting is a plus, but not required)

Skilled in preparing proposals, managing timelines, and keeping details straight

Strong communicator whos comfortable talking with everyone from clients to contractors to colleagues

Confident public speaker who can comfortably lead and represent J2 at events

Event planning or marketing experience is a big plus

Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities without losing your cool

Comfortable using CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and (bonus!) HubSpot

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is an in-office role with some local and regional travel for events, client visits, and industry functions. Applicants must be able to reliably commute MondayFriday.
