JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our cross-functional team of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Project Managers. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the specification, design, and production of our products to meet customer needs. Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team, including Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Project Managers.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from specification to design and production, ensuring that customer requirements are met.
  • Successfully complete certification projects for UL / ETL listing and hazardous location ratings of multiple products.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects, including the implementation of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and Engineering Change Request / Engineering Change Notice (ECR / ECN) processes.
  • Develop a comprehensive training program for incoming project managers to support business growth objectives.
  • Implement industry standards and best practices for CAD models, engineering drawings / documentation, revision control, configuration management, and project management.
  • Standardize the use of a common CAD package across all engineers to streamline collaboration and enhance efficiency.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams, preferably in an engineering environment.
  • Strong track record in product specification, design, and production, with a focus on meeting customer needs.
  • Demonstrated success in completing certification projects, such as UL / ETL listings and hazardous location ratings.
  • Experience leading and implementing continuous improvement projects, including the introduction of MRP and ECR / ECN processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to CAD models, engineering documentation, revision control, configuration management, and project management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and related tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
