What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities) :

• Maintain primary responsibility for managing the fleet operations of a Sealy plant.
• Areas of responsibility include : inbound and outbound freight costs, asset management, safety compliance, driver dispatch, ensuring compliance with company standards, customer satisfaction, and other transportation-related duties.
• Use logistics software to budget for and reconcile miles, fuel receipts, work orders, etc.
• Measure and report performance indicators to appropriate management as directed.
• Manage driver payroll and ensure consistency with applicable labor agreements.
• Maintain responsibility for fleet safety through inspections, planning and delivering trainings, and adherence to company policies.
• Assist management with auditing the effectiveness of current procedures and policies and implementing corrections when needed.
• Support and work as a liaison between the transportation team and the Sealy assembly plant team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary : 58K - 82K
