Special Education Paraprofessional

10 Points is urgently hiring for Special Education Paraprofessionals for classroom assistance paraeducator shall be working with students who require a behavioral aide who can also provide academic support. Job Responsibilities : Assists teacher by helping with classroom instruction and working with children during instructional activities. Students with behavior needs either mental health challenges or Autism. May assist in planning and implementing field trips for reinforcing classroom objectives. Monitors childrens behavior inside and outside of the classroom. Escorts students to areas on campus. Prepares classroom for activities including organizing assignments and / or preparing homework folders. Tracking students progress and preparing reports for the parents. Assisting Teachers in counseling parents on the requirements and development of their -teaching lessons under the Teachers guidance leading small groups or individual instruction and discussions and reviewing class work. Education & Qualifications : 1 years of working experience as a Paraprofessional. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or associate degree in education or related field preferred.
