Pay Information

$475 to $500 per hour

About The Position

Gastroenterology Locums Assignment with No Call - Maine

Highlights :

  • Immediate and Ongoing Need for 3-6 months or longer.
  • High-demand locums assignment open to IMLC Physicians.
  • Focus on core GI procedures without the complexity of ERCP.

Practice Setting :

  • Enjoy a manageable volume of 14-16 patients per day in the clinic.
  • Assignment is a mix of Inpatient and Outpatient coverage.
  • Work with a full complement of highly-skilled support staff.

    • Schedule :

  • Full-time, Block Scheduling available to ensure predictable time off.
  • Work consistent M-F, 8-hour day shifts.

    • Procedures and Cases :

  • Perform Lowers GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, and Colonoscopy.
  • Required Upper GI Endoscopy includes Biopsy, Foreign Body Removal, and Variceal Banding.
  • Therapeutic procedures are performed in the OR and possibly one day per week in the clinic.

    • Requirements & Credentialing :

  • Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Active ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
  • Open to Physicians with a current Maine license or an active IMLC Letter of Qualification.
