Role Summary :
The Cyber Security Engineer III is responsible for leading incident response, managing vulnerabilities, and maintaining compliance with internal and external security requirements. This position plays a key role in the daily operation and advancement of enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy and toolsets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor systems for threats, anomalies, and breaches across the organization
- Lead and manage vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts
- Oversee and maintain key security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, firewalls, asset discovery, and email protection platforms
- Test and verify the effectiveness of security controls, reporting findings in an organized manner
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks
- Contribute to security architecture recommendations for network and system design
- Stay current on evolving cybersecurity threats and best practices
- Participate in on-call security support rotation
- Uphold organizational safety and security standards across all responsibilities
Required Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experienceHands-on experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security and vulnerability managementStrong understanding of tools and techniques used in penetration testing and threat mitigationFamiliarity with security technologies including SIEM, proxies, firewalls, antivirus, and IdPsAbility to assess and prioritize remediation of system vulnerabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsValid drivers license requiredAdditional Information :
