Brief Description

Compensation : $25+ tips

Location : San Francisco Design Center (SFDC)

What You’ll Do

Deliver warm, polished, and attentive service to every guest.

Share your knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails to guide guests through their experience.

Support and lead the front‑of‑house team to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent service standards.

Act as a point of contact between servers, kitchen, and management to ensure seamless communication and execution.

Assist in training new front‑of‑house staff and reinforcing service standards.

Monitor dining areas to ensure a positive guest experience and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.

Participate in pre‑shift meetings and communicate daily goals, specials, and service notes to the team.

Oversee table assignments, pacing, and timing to optimize flow of service.

Support the team by running food, resetting tables, and assisting as needed during peak periods.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a lead server or supervisory role in a hospitality setting.

Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.

A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

Excellent knowledge of food, beverages, and service standards.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive and proactive attitude.

Physical Requirements

Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests, and clients.

Able to read and write to facilitate effective communication.

Ability to present information clearly in one‑on‑one, small group, and large group settings.

Ability to lead meetings and trainings covering basic health, safety, culinary, and service topics.

Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Comfortable working on feet for extended shifts and navigating a busy service environment.
