This position is responsible for dispensing prescriptions and coordinating clinical services for specialty drugs serviced at the branch location. The role involves interacting with healthcare professionals in the provision and coordination of customer care. Responsibilities include :

Reviewing patient profiles, drug interactions, sensitivities, and drug usage databases in relation to prescriptions.

Determining if prescriptions require physician clarification or forwarding to therapeutic intervention.

Entering prescriptions into the computer system.

Assisting in patient services by addressing incoming prescription medication questions / concerns.

Maintaining established procedures concerning quality assurance and security of controlled substances.

Dispensing prescription medication and performing final quality checks for accuracy and dosage.

Critical Information :

Attendance is crucial, especially during the initial 8 weeks of training (M???F, 9 : 00am ??? 5 : 30pm EST).

Must have a dedicated workspace with wired internet meeting minimum speed requirements (25mbps download, 5mbps upload).

Data entry and navigating multiple computer applications are primary functions of the job.

Active Pharmacist license required in the state of residence.

Experience in a data entry, productivity-driven role is preferred.

Education / Licenses Needed :

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D. required.

Active pharmacist license in good standing.
