Position Information Job Title Visiting Assistant in Business Analytics (2025-2026) Rank Visiting Assistant Professor Tenure Information Non-Tenure Track Job Description The Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford invites applications for a full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track) of Business Analytics. The successful candidate will contribute to the school’s mission by teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in business analytics, conducting impactful research, and engaging in service to the university and community. Key Responsibilities :

  • Teach courses in business analytics, data science, and related fields at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Graduate courses are taught both in-person and online.
  • Develop and maintain an active research agenda leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Advise and mentor students, including supervising capstone projects and theses.
  • Participate in curriculum development and program enhancement.
  • Engage in service activities within the school, university, and professional community. Required Qualifications Ph.D. or DBA in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems or closely related field (ABD candidates considered);OrMS in Business Analytics with 5+ years’ work experience.Experience with analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, or SAS is preferred.
