Victory Deaf Academy is currently seeking a

• Certified Teacher of the Hearing Impaired (HI)
• who is
• fluent in American Sign Language (ASL)
• to join our dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to educate, inspire, and empower Deaf and hard-of-hearing students in a fully inclusive, language-rich environment.
• Key Responsibilities :
• Provide specialized instruction to Deaf and hard-of-hearing students using ASL as the primary mode of communication
• Develop individualized and engaging lesson plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Create a positive, accessible, and culturally affirming classroom
• Collaborate with families, support staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP development, progress monitoring, and professional development
• Qualifications :
• Valid certification in Hearing Impaired Education (Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing)
• Fluent in American Sign Language (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Experience working in (ASL / English) education settings is a plus
• Strong understanding of Deaf culture and Deaf education best practices
