The Opportunity
Description
- Set up and operate manual machines (lathes, mills) to fabricate or repair metal parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Measure and inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes according to oilfield specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to meet project requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety standards
- Document work performed and maintain accurate production records
