Perform medium to large programming assignments, adhering to established programming standards, methods, and best practices. Design application and database components for development projects. Analyze business models, logical specifications, and / or customer requirements to design and build Internet solutions utilizing multiple technologies. Mitigate significant risks associated with complex projects or those presenting challenges to the business. Maintain and modify web applications, ensuring approved changes are documented and implemented. Conduct thorough testing of all coding changes. Provide support for critical web application problems and issues. Produce user and system documentation for operational and technical support. Assist in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems as required. Research new tools and technologies as needed. Assist in training and knowledge sharing with development teams, coaching junior-level developers and / or Professional Apprentices as needed. Project / task management and reporting as necessary. Deliver presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested. 2+ years of IT experience. 2+ years of Java (or related) Web Application development experience and object-oriented analysis and design. 1+ years of experience in an Enterprise Database Management System (preferably Oracle), including intermediate or higher use of SQL and database management constructs. Preferred experience in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, JDBC or Hibernate. Experience in React, Vue.js, Java Spring Boot, Maven, Docker / K8S, AWS, Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture integration, and Responsive web design preferred. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items. Ability to translate an idea or need into a completed solution or work product. Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Java Web Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and implementation of application software within a full-stack service-provider environment. Your expertise will contribute to the achievement of company business strategies and objectives. As a Java Web Developer, you will provide technical consulting to management, business users, and technical associates, and may serve as a mentor to junior developers. This role specifically involves the development and analysis of applications related to EDI, Online Ordering, and Pricing applications.
