PIW is a bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. Position Summary :
The Associate Administrator sets objectives, develops, plans, staffs, and directs activities of assigned departments / areas of responsibility. Assists hospital's senior leader in the operation of the hospital. May assume administrative responsibility for the hospital in the absence of the hospital senior leader. In addition, the Associate Administrator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing hospital activities pertaining to regulatory compliance, legal issues, hospital licensing, hospital preparation for CARF / Joint Commission / DBHR certification, quality assurance activities, outcomes assessment, confidentiality regulations of HIPAA / CFR , Part 2, and medical staff privileging, credentialing and scheduling (as applicable). The Administrator reports directly to the CEO.
