Veterinarian

NB : 2 years of experience is required as a minimum for this full-time position as our client is offering immediate access to an established diary, suitable for high producers!

What you will do :

Serving roughly 15-20 patients per day on average in a thriving small animal hospital setting. Please note a willingness to offer both internal medicine and routine soft tissue surgery is essential, but you will have the freedom as much as possible to gear your diary with a higher volume of surgery or consultations to suit your preferences as our client is keen to support your professional interests!

• Utilize superb hospital facilities including digital records, therapeutic laser, dedicated surgery suites, ultrasound, CryoPen, high-speed dental, and digital radiography. NB : The employer is also happy to invest in any equipment a new colleague feels would be of benefit to their work / their patients.

Anticipated Schedule :

• Four days required mid-week Monday to Friday with the option to choose between 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm. (Some 10 am to 7 pm shifts might be requested, but not many)
• Option to work mid week only or on occasional Saturdays if preferred. If opting to work on a Saturday our client requests working either 8 : 00 am to 1 pm or 12 noon to 5 pm. No Sundays required.
• No on-call / out-of-hours required.

• Guaranteed pay for your first year of employment is negotiable and the employer has said for a Veterinarian confident to manage a busy diary they can expect to receive guaranteed pay of $200,000 (if not more) with realistic potential to achieve $250,000+ via production bonus pay

• DVM or VMD degree with eligibility to practice in Texas.
