This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job operates in a spice production environment. Employee may be exposed to strong dust or odors. Employee may be required to work in a dusty environment at times. Employee must NOT be allergic to nuts, spices or herbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the Office Assistant must be able to use a keyboard and telephone. Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and occasional standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting 35lbs, ability to adjust vision for close vision work. Occasional exposure to airborne dust, high humidity and extreme heat are possible in the facility.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a temporary position expected to last sixteen (16) weeks, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.

Required Qualifications and Education

Minimum Education : High School or equivalent Combined experience / education as substitute for minimum education

Minimum Experience : 1 Year

Minimum Field of Expertise : General office experience & proficiency in the following : data entry, typing / word processing, filing, & basic math skills for assigned business tasks. Needs to operate varied office equipment.
