Job Description

Join CRB as an Electrical Engineer II supporting architectural building design projects for the food & beverage industry. In this role, you'll assist in the design and engineering of electrical systems for new builds-including power distribution (4160V, 480V, 240V, and 120V) , lighting, grounding / bonding, and special systems-while collaborating with architects and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, constructible solutions.

Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you'll contribute to all phases of design-from conceptual development to construction administration-while gaining hands-on experience with advanced tools like BIM and CAD platforms . This position offers opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and growth within a dynamic AEC environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute electrical design tasks under the supervision of a senior engineer.
• Design electrical systems of basic complexity in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Perform engineering calculations including illumination, power load, conduit and wire sizing, short circuit, and voltage drop.
• Develop technical documentation such as one-line diagrams, basis of design reports, specifications, and installation details.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated and constructible designs.
• Utilize BIM and CAD software for modeling and documentation.
• Conduct field investigations to assess existing conditions and integrate new designs.
• Support construction activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, punch lists, and progress reports.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews and contribute to the production of high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor entry-level engineers and interns.
• Assist in project programming and master planning with guidance from senior staff.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously as directed by a supervisor.
