Job Overview :

The Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Operations Program Specialist is responsible for supporting Operations Program Managers (OPMs) in driving overall program schedules, budgets, and execution. This role involves tracking equipment spend by project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather information on production line demand, understanding technical changes that impact budgets and schedules, and creating data visualizations to conceptualize insights. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze large datasets at both macro and micro levels, extracting relevant takeaways to enable better-informed business decisions.

Responsibilities :

  • Partner with engineering, operations, and finance teams to support CapEx readiness.
  • Track and analyze spend, savings, and risks against budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review, change, and develop processes to improve CapEx spend efficiencies.
  • Verify demands and lead the business team to ensure equipment is tracked to delivery.
  • Work with business and procurement teams to ensure vendor support for setup, installation, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Respond quickly to changes in overall goals, schedules, and / or architecture.
  • Support milestone-based budget releases throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Create program dashboards using tools such as Tableau.

Qualifications :

  • Comfortable working with large datasets and capable of running analytical reports.
  • Experience in manufacturing and / or supply chain is preferred.
  • Proficient in finance with high attention to detail.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education :

  • BS / BA degree required; MBA preferred.
