This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager.
Minimum Requirements
A graduate of an AMA-approved school for Respiratory Therapy, eligible for licensure in South Carolina, or a senior student graduating in the next three months.
Certifications / Registrations / Licenses
Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina or be eligible for licensure. BLS certification is required. Candidates must maintain NBRC credentials. Individuals hired after June 2016 must pass the Therapist Multiple Choice Exam and the Clinical Simulation Exam within six months of graduation; otherwise, employment will be terminated. NRP and PALS certifications are required for roles in the Children's Hospital before working independently in the NICU and PICU.
