You’ll warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating for both the restaurant and downstairs lounge, and ensure smooth guest flow throughout service. The ideal candidate combines professionalism with personality — effortlessly handling a busy door, high-profile guests, and an energetic crowd with poise and charm.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Manage reservations through the restaurant’s booking system (e.g., 7rooms).
Coordinate guest seating and flow for both dinner service and late-night / lounge transitions.
Maintain an organized waitlist, communicate accurate wait times, and manage VIP or walk-in requests.
Liaise between front-of-house, bar, and management teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Assist with coat check, menus, and guest amenities as needed.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to special requests or seating preferences.
Support the door and security team during high-volume nights or events.
Ensure the host stand and entrance area remain organized, clean, and visually appealing.
Handle phone calls and guest inquiries regarding reservations, hours, or events.
Represent the Jean’s brand with style and professionalism, maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
