As the Lead Innovation Packaging Engineer & Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and execution of complex single and multi-material packaging solutions projects from conception to completion, including designing, developing, and testing. You will have leadership responsibilities within the Innovation team and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that packaging meets the requirements of the customers, is cost-effective, and meets regulatory compliance. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Education / Work Experience Preferences :
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field such as Engineering, Packaging Science, Industrial Technology, etc.8 or more years of relevant experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a packaging environmentProven leadership experience (NOTE : This does not mean we need direct management. We are seeking Project Management, Program Management, cross-functional team leadership.)Must be able to work autonomously and on-site (this isn’t a remote / hybrid position)Strong knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes, thermal and mechanical analysis of structures; experience with packaging testing and analysis; excellent project management skills, knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for packaging.Experience packaging larger products such as appliances, furniture, etc. would be the best fit.Experience with NPI processes or stage-gate project management would be a plus
