We are seeking a detail-oriented Customs Analyst to support free trade agreement (FTA) analysis, customs compliance, and duty mitigation programs. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with Excel, and the ability to interpret and apply customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract and analyze bills of materials to assess free trade agreement (FTA) applicability.
  • Apply USMCA rules to determine qualification status.
  • Review and apply internal work instructions related to FTA analysis and qualification.
  • Partner with supply chain teams to solicit and review USMCA certificates from suppliers.
  • Analyze customs broker entry data to identify opportunities for post-entry claims.
  • Support post-entry filings, including FTA reconciliation, post-summary corrections, and duty drawback.
  • Contribute to other duty mitigation programs as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED required; additional education a plus.
  • 3+ years of general customs, trade compliance, or logistics experience (Canada experience is a plus).
  • 1–2 years of experience with data analysis or customs processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level or higher).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with FTA analysis and / or SAP preferred.
