The primary role of the Technical Project Manager is to provide project planning and management for established initiatives within the Americas Shared Services IT Infrastructure Departments. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed to specification, on time, and within the established budget. Duties include planning projects in detail, setting schedules for all stakeholders, executing each step of the project, and providing regular status updates to the Management Team.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for technical team members required for specific projects or initiatives
- Managing projects to make sure the proposed plan adheres to timeline, budget and scope
- Holding regular technical team meetings to collect and document project task updates; determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- Creation of management, communication plans and processes
- Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties
- Maintain project time frames, budget estimates and status reports Education : A bachelor’s in information technology, Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

5+ Years of IT Project Management in a global organization Knowledge / Skills / Experience :Professional Project Management Certificate from accredited intuition preferredDemonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methodsStrong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-makingAbility to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstaclesExcellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to the business, as well as business concepts to technologistsPrinciples and practices of producing effective project documentation including business functions, business information systems, and practicesStrong Time management and organizational skillsExcellent customer service skills - ability to interact with all levels in a courteous, helpful and professional mannerUnquestionable ethics with proven ability to deal with a high level of confidentialityMust be highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentMust be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and exhibit a strong sense of urgencyExtensive experience leading complex IT Infrastructure Project Implementations, including successful M&A integrations in large global enterprise environmentsProven track record in designing, building, and managing hosted and on-premises data center environmentsHas successfully delivered end-to-end private and public cloud migration projects using services such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and other platforms available through Azure and AWSDeep expertise in ERP migrations involving Tier 1 systems such as Oracle JD Edwards and SAP from on-premises to public / private cloud-based environmentsAbility to collaborate with application owners and architects to define migration strategies and execution plansManaged project implementations involving Active Directory migrations, including user provisioning, group policy administration, and service account management.Experience in coordinating and planning the deploying of file server migration tools such as Ctera and Datadobi in both managed data centers and on-premises environments, including SID Mapping and permissions migrationsAbility to oversee and manage the deployment of server builds across physical, VMware, IBM environments (P8, P10, and PowerHA) and Cisco switches in VXLAN scalable segmentation working with OEM and partner resources, including Disaster Recovery technologiesExtensive experience coordinating the design, ordering, and deployment of the network environment using SD-WAN across multiple sites, utilizing Cisco DNA Center for network optimization, Palo Alto Firewalls, F5, Netscaler.Experience managing the deployment of backup solution using Rubrik, EMC NetWorker, and Data Domain Virtual Edition (DDVE) across enterprise, managed datacenters, and cloud environmentsStrong command of security compliance frameworks and vulnerability management tools (i.e. Rapid 7, SentinelOne)Overseeing the design and implementation of technologies such as Citrix, Dell Unity, NetApp Storage arrays, SolarWinds, Splunk, VMware vRealize Operations (vROps), SQL, and Oracle DatabasesExecution of Disaster Recovery strategies and conducted ERP focused DR drills to ensure business continuityWe are the ASSA ABLOY Group
