Project Accountant

Sacramento, CA (Onsite)

$35-42 / hr

Do you have strong accounting and billing experience from the construction industry? Do you have industry experience from a commercial general contractor? We are looking for a project accountant for a great team in Sacramento, CA. This would be an onsite position that could be contract-to-hire or Direct hire. If you have at least two years of work experience, experience with ProCore, and strong billing experience (owner billings) please apply online today!

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage project billing cycles, including preparation and submission of owner billings, lien waivers, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and timely billing.
• Review subcontractor invoices and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Assist with monthly project financial reporting and forecasting.
• Maintain organized records for audits and internal reviews.
• Support job cost analysis and budget reconciliation.
