You’re comfortable navigating after-school transitions, flexible when occasional early pick-ups are needed, and confident behind the wheel. Experience supporting children with ADHD is a strong plus. A love of crafts, creative play, and engaging conversations is always welcome in our home. Your afternoons begin with light household support such as child-related laundry, loading or unloading the dishwasher, simple meal or snack prep (like chopping vegetables), and taking our friendly Pomeranian on a walk. Once school ends, you will pick up the children and transport them to extracurricular activities (including classes, therapies, and practices) using your own reliable vehicle. You’ll help the kids settle in after school, assist with transitions using the family’s established calm-down strategies, and support them as they unwind through crafts, reading, imaginative play, or listening to music and audiobooks. Early January, 2026 Location : Kirkland, WA, 98033 Position Highlights : Guaranteed weekly hours. PTO aligned with school breaks and parent work holidays (e.g., Spring Break, MLK Day). Consistent weekday schedule. A collaborative family that values transparency and mutual respect. Experience with school-age children; support experience with ADHD preferred. Safe driving record and reliable personal vehicle for transporting children. Ability to provide consistent routines and firm but caring boundaries. Strong communication skills with parents and children. Comfort with dogs. Reliability and punctuality. Ability to assist with basic household tasks and pet care. Glowing references from recent nanny positions. Background working with behavioral or emotional regulation strategies. Experience helping children through transitions or perfectionism-related frustrations. Interest in crafts, science, storytelling, or outdoor activities. Ability to offer creative problem-solving or engage kids through their favorite hobbies. M-F 1 : 30 pm – 5 : 30 pm Pay : $31-37 All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired. Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play Essential Physical Requirements : Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner Powered by JazzHR

- We are a warm, active family in Kirkland seeking an after-school nanny who can support our two children, ages 5 and 7, and help keep our home running smoothly during the busy afternoon hours.
