Maintenance Assistant Job Description :

The position is responsible for keeping our facilities clean and well-maintained. In this role, you perform painting, light plumbing, landscaping, carpentry, and preventive maintenance and repair duties. Reporting to the Vice President Engineering / Facilities.

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities :

• Inspect buildings, sites and equipment for needed repair / maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Fix minor issues related to electricity, plumbing, and other systems.
• Keep equipment in working order and report any repair needs beyond your scope.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
• Assist with construction projects.
• Operate forklift.
• Maintain records and prepare reports.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
