Position Information Job Title Financial Analyst Summary Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs (AVPAA), the Financial Analyst provides strategic financial insight and management for the division of Academic Affairs. The Financial Analyst will develop analyses, financial forecasts, and financial modeling to inform and support academic priorities and projects. The Analyst coordinates with the Vice President of Academic Affairs and AVPAA, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, the three colleges, the academic affairs support units, the Division of Finance & Administration, the Division of Advancement, and other key offices to develop practices, protocols, and policies that ensure effective use of resources that support the current and future development of Academic Affairs. Normal Work Location, Hours and Conditions This position works in-person from our campus in University Heights, Ohio. University core business hours are generally 8 : 30 am – 5 : 00 pm. However this position may require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on department operations.
Physical Requirements Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and / or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other office locations and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Hours Full Time FLSA Exempt (Salary) Compensation & Benefits Starting salary will be $56,000 – $65,000, commensurate with qualifications.
