Summary :

We’re seeking a skilled Web Developer to join the Stores XFN team at our company, working at the intersection of technical SEO and modern web development. In this role, you’ll enable and configure site-specific metadata, manage , implement permanent redirects, and ensure streamlined URL discovery and canonicalization across our marketing websites. Your expertise will be critical in optimizing site performance through Server-Side Rendering, monitoring site health, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to develop internal SEO tools.

Responsibilities :

• Enable and configure site-specific metadata for our marketing websites :
• Use and maintain to manage URLs and disallow un-necessary URLs.
• Use permanent redirects (301s) to preserve page equity when migrating URLs.
• Use 404s to indicate when Google should no longer index and rank a page.
• Provide the right URLs to discover via : Accurate XML sitemaps, Internal URLs which are accessible (not 404s), Hreflang
• Canonicalizing URLs to de-dupe for Google indexing
• Site-specific monitoring, alerting, triaging, and actioning : 404 / 500 errors, site performance, and speed metrics
• Enable / configure SSR, when appropriate, to optimize for crawler performance
• Partner with product & engineering to build and utilize internal tools to maximize SEO
• Develop SEO optimized HTML / XML and content

Requirements :

Pay range is $59 - $64 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical / dental / vision / life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
