Job Description

The Exceptions Planning Analyst prepares exceptions to the meetinghouse annual plan and coordinates other funding requests to be presented to the Physical Facilities Advisory Committee, and the Budget and Appropriations Committee.

Responsibilities

• Based on processes and guidelines, analyze and validate worldwide requests submitted for PFAC / BAC consideration, and write executive summaries for upper management. Provide supporting documentation and determine appropriate funding sources.
• Coordinate agenda items submitted for PFAC / BAC by Real Estate Services and Account Management and provide second review and consultation support.
• Organize the PFAC agenda each week and schedule DTAs and department directors to present agenda items.
• Validate BRASS entries submitted by international areas for committee items.
• Assist in preparing the MFD and SPD managing directors for BAC meetings. This may entail preparing PowerPoint presentations, contacting areas or other headquarters departments for additional information, obtaining maps, providing membership & attendance graphs, and consulting Internet resources.
• Maintain tracking logs of all requests processed including additional funds approved from the reserves.
• Educate and train area personnel worldwide regarding the exception process and function as the first contact for assisting areas with request submissions.
