As a Security Professional - Unarmed Telecom Patrols in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting a welcoming environment for all. Pay Rate : $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeFri03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PMSat03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You’ll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and telecommunications location, including both the interior and perimeter areas.
  • Observe for any unusual activities or potential security-related concerns and report them according to established protocols.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and / or vendors, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and / or other security-related issues.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for all occupants.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
