Essential Functions :
- Carries a patient census of 1-3 clients, as your schedule allows
- Evaluates the level of patient function and performance and equipment needs
- Develops the plan of care / treatment including long and short-term treatment goals, interventions, and the intensity, frequency and duration of services
- Completes initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments at appropriate time points
- Provides interventions and therapeutic treatment in accordance with the physician certified plan of care and occupational therapy professional standards of practice
M inimum Education & Experience Requirements :
Florida Occupational Therapist LicenseIn the last five (5) years, two (2) years of experience as a physical therapistKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Able to provide proof of current CPR certification, per organization-specific policyAble to visually and aurally observe and assess the patientAble to effectively deal with changes based on patient needs and schedulingWorking Conditions & Physical Effort :
Able to travel within geographic area serviced by officeWork is performed in a client's residenceAble to work flexible schedule as neededPerform physical activity that may require lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to50 lbs., and physically stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, sitting, walking, reaching and climbing stairs
