Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading audit assignments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing valuable insights to improve our internal controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulations
  • Develop audit plans and programs based on risk assessments
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for management
  • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate audit processes and gather relevant information
  • Mentor and train junior auditors in auditing practices and methodologies
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations impacting audit processes
  • Evaluate and enhance audit methodologies, tools, and processes to improve efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CMA, CFE, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, with a focus on internal audits
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IIA standards, SOX compliance, and RPA
  • Experience with data analysis and enterprise risk management (ERM)
  • Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage complex audit assignments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior management
