About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join their team. The CNO will be a key executive leader, responsible for the organization and administration of patient care services to meet the hospital's objectives. This role involves setting and maintaining nursing standards of practice, policies, and procedures, as well as ensuring the quality of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a background in surgical or hospital leadership, with a strong focus on leadership, people management, performance improvement, and financial management.
Key responsibilities for the CNO include communicating a vision for success, building employee engagement, and creating an environment that fosters goal achievement. The successful candidate will be adept at identifying and implementing process improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing the department's budget. A graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a current California Registered Nursing License, is required. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, with a Master's degree in healthcare management or nursing also being a plus. The CNO should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in patient care services, with 3 years in quality management, and hold BLS and ACLS certifications.
