This position offers the chance to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment within a 30-bed community hospital. The facility features a 24 / 7 Emergency Department, focusing on bread-and-butter emergency medicine cases such as chest pain, strokes, and lacerations. You'll be joining an experienced and well-trained staff with a low turnover rate, where physicians love to work. This opportunity is open to both family medicine-trained ER physicians and new graduates.

Position Highlights :

• No trauma designation; stabilize and ship trauma patients
• Anesthesiology and General Surgery backup
• Tele-Med support from nearby Level I Trauma Centers
• On-site diagnostic services (CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound, MRI, Labs)
• 20,000 annual ER visits; 2.1 patients / hour; 5% admission rate
• Join a team of 3 full-time ER MDs, 2 part-time ER MDs, and 2 ER NPs
• hour shifts / month, 2 weekends off / month, 5 days off
• Day shifts supported by a NP during busiest 8-hour stretch
• 1099 employment, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance
