School Nurse, RN - Long Term Substitute (03 / 23-06 / 26 / 26)

The Baldwinsville CSD anticipates a long-term substitute School Nurse, RN position to begin on or around March 23, 2026, through June 30, 2026. 8 hours per day on the school schedule.

Under the direction of the School Nursing Supervisor and Building Principal, the School Nurse is responsible for providing direct school nursing services in an effort to promote prevention, medical management and academics. The School Nurse will assess and evaluate the health and developmental status of pupils in order to make a nursing diagnosis and establish a priority for action, interpret the health and developmental status of pupils to school personnel, parents and pupils as appropriate.

Job Qualifications

Applicants must enjoy working with children of all ages. Applicants must meet all qualifications as defined by Onondaga County Civil Service, which includes holding a valid NYS license as a Registered Nurse and CPR / Adult & Pediatric AED certification.
