Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Appian Senior Developer to manage and optimize enterprise-grade Appian environments across development, QA, and production. This role includes delivering secure and scalable Appian solutions, supporting CI / CD pipelines, and maintaining high system performance. Ideal candidates have three (3) – five (5) years of Appian development experience, Agile delivery expertise, and a strong technical foundation. Appian Senior Developer certification and experience with GAM Solutions, particularly Vendor Management, are highly preferred.
Performs advanced (senior-level) computer programming work. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Employees at this level may fully perform highly complex programming work and may coordinate and / or perform highly complex coding, testing, and debugging of applications, as outlined by system requirements.
Prepare detailed analysis, plans, diagrams, and validation procedures for existing and proposed computer applications.Complete requirements analysis, design, development, test and deployment of new application components, as required.Work directly with customers, system administrators project managers, and QA teams for validationConfigure and maintain Appian environments (Dev, QA, Prod)May assist with managing user roles, security policies, and access controlMonitor system health, resolve performance issues, and optimize UI performance and responsiveness.Support DevOps and CI / CD for Appian deployments and apply upgrades and patches in a timely manner.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications
Education
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, data processing or related field.Additional work-related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis (High-school diploma required).Experience and Training Required
