BASIC FUNCTION :

Perform lab testing on in-process and finished products; record and report results in order to ensure highest standards of quality are met or exceeded and in compliance with federal state and company specifications

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Gathers samples for analytical testing and performs various laboratory tests on products raw materials ingredients and lab samples to determine if they meet necessary requirements.
• Prepares samples of products for future reference and documents results.
• Examines results of audit tests to identify problems with such things as sanitation and manufacturing processes.
• Enters laboratory data into computer system.
• Alert management when products are out of specification.
• Responsible for reporting food safety or quality problems to management and assists in appropriate personnel.
• Examines inventory to determine what supplies need to be ordered and informs appropriate personnel.
• Trains other employees on the proper use of equipment and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Must be able to work : 6pm-6am

Starting Wage : $25.91
