As our Senior Accountant , you'll be at the heart of strategic financial operationsleading month-end close, optimizing fixed asset accounting, and shaping GAAP compliance with precision and confidence. What You'll Do :
- Own the month-end close process and balance sheet reconciliations with accuracy and insight.
- Lead fixed asset accounting and guide teams on expense classifications that drive smarter decisions.
- File monthly State Use and B&O taxes and support annual data tax collection efforts.
- Be a key player in internal and external auditsgathering, reporting, and presenting with clarity.
- Prepare and submit government reports that keep us compliant and ahead of the curve.
- Evaluate financial activities and recommend GAAP treatments that align with best practices.
- Champion process improvements across AP, AR, credit, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Spearhead special projects like system integrations and automation initiatives.
- Communicate complex financial concepts in a way that empowers leadership.
- Build strong relationships across departments and become a trusted advisor.
What You Bring :
4+ years of operational accounting experience in a publicly traded company.Deep understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger processes.1+ year of hands-on experience with fixed assets and lease / fringe accounting.Strong command of US GAAP and internal policy compliance.Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.Proficiency in Tier 1 / Tier 2 ERP systemsOracle experience is a plus.Intermediate or Advanced Excel skillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related Business major.Leadership experience as a mentor or manager is highly valued.Why You'll Love It Here :
