Our end client is seeking a Data Steward / Application Support Engineer to join their team and take ownership of ongoing data integrity, system reliability, and production support efforts across a suite of data-driven applications.
This role is ideal for someone with strong SQL Server experience who enjoys solving real-world data problems, investigating anomalies, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of business-critical systems. The ideal candidate combines production support discipline with an application developer's mindset-comfortable not just loading data, but understanding the why behind it, troubleshooting root causes, and working directly with business users to ensure everything works as expected.
While this person may assist in application development-particularly during a transition from .NET Framework to .NET Core-the long-term focus is on maintaining high data quality, supporting event-driven data updates (e.g., fund launches and mergers), and proactively identifying and resolving production issues.
