GovCon Power Platform & Asana Solutions Builder (Contract, 90 days, potential ongoing extension)
Mission
Stand up a two-function delivery transparency system (Internal Ops + External Reporting) using Asana + Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) + SharePoint + Dataverse in GCC or GCC High , with an 812-week launch and clean upgrade path (Excel / SharePoint Dataverse).
Core Responsibilities
- Data layer : Implement Dataverse tables / relationships per build sheet (initially may source from SharePoint / Excel; must be Dataverse-ready).
- Apps : Build 5 Power Apps (Funding, Invoices, Personnel, Travel, GFP) with validation, role-based access, and audit trails.
- Automations : Configure Power Automate flows FA-01..FA-08 (due ladders, decision SLAs, funding thresholds, invoice lifecycle, travel approvals, GFP maintenance, evidence bundling, BI snapshot).
- Asana : Configure portfolios, projects, global custom fields, and intake (Asana Forms and / or MS Forms flow Asana).
- Analytics : Build the Power BI model + two Apps ( COR Executive , Internal PMO ) with RLS and scheduled refresh.
- Content & control : Set up SharePoint libraries, versioning, retention; wire evidence links from Apps / Asana to SharePoint.
- SOPs & enablement : Write short SOPs (12 pages per area), record quick Looms, and run user training.
Required Qualifications (mid-level, hands-on)
35+ yrs building Power Apps (Canvas / Model-driven) and Power Automate in enterprise environments.3+ yrs Power BI (data modeling, DAX , RLS , refresh, workspace Apps).Demonstrated Asana admin (portfolios, custom fields, forms, connector / flow integration).Hands-on with Dataverse (tables, lookups, security roles) and SharePoint (sites, libraries, metadata).Security-minded builds (MFA, least privilege, activity logs); comfort working with CUI and tenant guardrails.Clear documentation and end-user training delivery.Nice-to-Have (Preferred)
GovCon reporting experience (CLIN / SLIN, CDRLs, COR reporting cadence).Prior work in GCC or GCC High ; awareness of cross-tenant sharing limits and PDF export fallbacks.Familiarity with GFP custody , JTR travel flows, or DoD records / retention expectations.Contract Details
Length : 812 weeks (milestone-based; 40 hrs / week equivalent; flexible).Engagement : 1099 or corp-to-corp.Clearance : Not required; U.S.-based ; must pass background screen.Comp : Mid-range; milestone payments tied to deliverables.Milestones & Acceptance (tie to payments)
Week 2 : Dataverse schema (or interim SharePoint / Excel tables) + Asana scaffolding + 3 flows (FA-01, FA-02, FA-05).Acceptance : tables match field spec; flows run end-to-end on sample data.Week 4 : All 5 Power Apps MVP + FA-03, FA-04; initial Power BI model + draft COR / PMO pages.Acceptance : live demo with real contract data; RLS roles stubbed.Week 6 : Full COR Executive App + Internal PMO App with RLS; FA-06 and nightly FA-08 snapshot live.Acceptance : COR view shows Funding / Burn / Run-out, Deliverables, Invoice timeline; internal shows portfolio heatmap and blockers.Week 812 : Hardening (evidence bundler FA-07, retention / versioning, SOPs, training, pilot closure).Acceptance : sign-off from internal PM and one external counterpart (Prime PM or COR).
