Structural Engineering Leader

Base pay range : $120,000.00 / yr - $140,000.00 / yr

Position Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineering Leader to oversee structural engineering design, analysis, and project execution across multiple facility or capital project initiatives. This role will manage a team of engineers and designers, ensure technical excellence, and partner closely with cross?functional teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient project outcomes. The ideal candidate is a hands?on leader with strong technical depth and the ability to guide teams through complex design and construction challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers and designers; provide coaching, training, and performance management.
• Oversee structural design and analysis for new construction, modifications, and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure engineering work meets applicable codes, specifications, and safety standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, etc.).
• Manage project schedules, resource planning, and workload distribution across internal teams and external partners.
• Conduct and lead design reviews, ensuring alignment with mechanical, civil, electrical, and operations teams.
• Coordinate with construction and project management teams during installation, commissioning, and field verification.
• Develop and enforce QA / QC standards, documentation requirements, and engineering best practices.
• Support cost estimation, material selection, and project scoping to promote efficiency and cost control.
• Troubleshoot structural issues and provide timely technical solutions during project execution.
• Conduct occasional site visits to assess field conditions and support project progress.
