We are seeking a Traffic Engineer / TIA Lead to drive our traffic engineering and impact analysis services while playing a key role in business development. This position blends technical expertise with client engagement, giving you the opportunity to manage projects, expand our market presence, and develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities :

  • Identify new opportunities, build relationships with developers, agencies, and municipalities, and secure contracts for traffic engineering services.
  • Stay informed on local development trends, zoning changes, and regulatory updates to anticipate market needs and proactively offer solutions
  • Develop alliances with engineering firms, land-use planners, and environmental consultants to enhance service offerings and increase project opportunities.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences and networking events.
  • Oversee the preparation of TIAs for various development projects, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality, on-time submissions.
  • Support junior staff in developing technical and client management skills

Required Qualifications :

  • Degree in engineering, planning or related field.
  • PE License in Texas.
  • 5 or more years of progressive experience in traffic engineering.
  • Expertise using engineering software (ie., Synchro, Vissim, Excel, Word, ArcGIS, etc.), development codes, manuals and methodologies required for above projects.
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Existing relationships with development community.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Strong team-building and team management skills.
