Were looking for a skilled Cabling Technician who takes pride in their work, whether running CAT6 in a crawlspace or cleaning up a server room that looks like spaghetti night.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Pulling, installing, and terminating low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, etc.) in commercial and residential environments
• Installing racks, patch panels, network jacks, faceplates, and testing equipment
• Diagnosing and resolving cabling issues or poor prior installations
• Reading blueprints and floor plans to design and execute clean, efficient cable routes
• Collaborating with team members, clients, contractors, and the occasional curious office cat
• Ensuring all jobs are completed with safety, accuracy, and that chefs kiss finish

What Were Looking For :

• 1+ year of structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience (more = even better)
• Ability to terminate and test Cat5e / Cat6 cables (RJ45), and familiarity with tools like cable testers, punch-down tools, and fish tapes
• Comfortable using ladders, lifts, and tools (and following OSHA safety practices)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, crawl, bend, climb, and sometimes work in less-than-glamorous spaces
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record (youll be driving the Nerd Van!)
• Professional appearance, solid communication, and a "get-it-done" attitude

Nice-to-Haves (but not required) :

• Experience with fiber optic installation or termination
• Familiarity with surveillance system cabling (CCTV, IP cameras)
• Basic networking knowledge or IT support background
