The ideal candidate will have significant clinical experience as a physician, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of constructively resolving disagreements and conflicts.

Opportunity Summary : In partnership with the Chief Operating Officer of a leading medical practices group, this role is pivotal in shaping clinical programs that enhance our status as a top-tier regional integrated health care system. The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is tasked with :

• Participating as a key member of the Executive Steering Council (ESC), acting as a senior decision-maker on a wide range of issues.
• Ensuring collaborative efforts across the health system by departments such as Quality & Patient Safety, the Medical Staff Office, and Care Transitions to achieve strategic goals and implement best practices.
• Developing a physician-led strategy to foster engagement and strong relationships with physicians and medical staff, supporting the president of the medical staff in committee meetings and other functions as per medical staff by-laws, and working closely with medical staff to enhance our co-management structure.
• Being actively involved in the community, serving on local boards, and participating in charitable organizations aimed at community and health improvement.
