NURSE MANAGER - VOLUNTARY PSYCHIATRIC UNIT

UW Medical Center-Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a Nurse Manager to lead our brand-new Voluntary Psychiatric Unit , opening in spring 2025.

WORK SCHEDULE

• 40 hours per week
• Primarily Monday - Friday, but with 24 / 7 accountability for the delivery of care
• Primarily day shifts, with additional hours as needed

The anticipated start date for this position is November 2024. The Voluntary Psychiatric Unit will open to patients in spring 2025.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONS

The Voluntary Psychiatric Unit will open in spring of 2025 and will serve as a brand-new care model for behavioral health services within the UW Medicine system. The unit will support adult patients with acute psychiatric needs and will provide specialty services to perinatal behavioral health patients. The unit will have 14 beds and will take a collaborative, patient-centered approach that emphasizes therapeutic interventions.
