Strategic Consulting and Communications Client Engagement is currently recruiting a Consultant / Senior Consultant to lead client engagements and help build our growing market access consulting practice. The position reports to the Vice President of Client Engagement.

Consultants / Senior Consultants play a central role in helping COEUS clients create and ensure patient access to new and existing therapies. COEUS Consultants / Senior Consultants collaborate with life sciences companies to generate strategic, innovative, credible, and relevant business planning, through execution, to support the development and commercialization of novel healthcare innovations.

At COEUS, Consultants / Senior Consultants work on multiple consulting projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery for clients in the pharmaceutical or related industries. General responsibilities include creating strategic and tactical deliverables specific to market access. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in market access consulting, and a master's degree in business administration or public health or a PhD in a biologic science.

Location for this role is remote, however travel to client locations is required.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Work with project leadership and COEUS' internal industry experts and other cross-functional partners to define project scope and develop approach
• Collaborate with COEUS' internal Industry Experts, consulting and function partners, and external subject matter experts to distill market intelligence into actionable insights for clients' strategies
• Provide market knowledge by leveraging in-depth understanding of the Market Access (Payer, IDN, Provider Groups, Trade) landscape, healthcare reform, claims data and managed care data
• Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project related findings and coordinating team meetings
• Synthesize engagement findings, develop recommendations and communicate results to clients and internal teams
• Monitor trends in drug coverage and reimbursement, existing and emerging government and payer policies, competitive pricing and contracting strategies, and potential barriers to provider and patient access
• Support communication of COEUS' thought leadership and innovation Market Access by researching and writing position documents for publication / dissemination by COEUS Industry Experts
• Support sales by drafting proposals, RFP responses and SOWs for management review
