Find your calling at Mercy! The Advanced Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in the efficient operation of a physician practice. This individual oversees various administrative and operational functions to ensure the smooth functioning of the practice. They are responsible for managing caregivers, financial activities, patient relations, and regulatory compliance. Scope : Scope of influence and complexity of role may be defined by factors, including but not limited to : Expanded span of control of providers Expanded span of control of direct and indirect reports Location and geographical distance of practice(s) Leadership specific criteria Position Details : Mercy Clinic Springfield - Cancer and Hematology Full - Time Monday - Friday Overview : Directly responsible for the daily operations and staff supervision of more than two physician business units or a single practice with a unique program or services including multiple providers and co-workers. Ensures professional and technical operation of clinical units with moderate to high complexity and that all policies and procedures are followed on a day-to-day basis. May supervise other Practice Managers and Practice Coordinators. Responsible for independent management of the business units in accordance with Clinic Initiatives : Physician Satisfaction, Co-Worker Satisfaction, Patient Satisfaction, Quality, and Business Performance. Reports directly to Director or VP of Operations. Performs all related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Experience : 2 or more years' experience in a physician or medical office required. Lead or supervisory experience required. Other : Knowledge of managed care billing practices required. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office required. Why Mercy?
