Systems Engineer, Civil Interface Control

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer specializing in Civil Interface Control to support MTA transit infrastructure projects. This role ensures seamless integration between civil works and complex transit systems maintaining compliance with design standards and mitigating interface risks across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface Management : Develop and maintain interface control documents (ICDs) between civil works and systems (signaling communications power track etc.).
• Requirements Analysis : Review and validate system requirements to ensure compatibility with civil engineering designs and construction activities.
• Coordination : Coordinate between civil engineering teams systems contractors and MTA to resolve interface issues.
• Design Integration : Support design reviews identify conflicts and propose solutions to ensure smooth integration of systems within civil structures.
• Compliance & Standards : Ensure adherence to FTA standards and APTA guildelines.
• Risk Management : Identify interface risks early and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Documentation & Reporting : Prepare technical reports interface matrices and maintain accurate records of design changes and approvals.
