Patient Care Technician - Outpatient Dialysis

Schedule Overview :

Shifts typically range anywhere from 8hr-14hrs long. The schedule is made well in advance and days / shifts are rotated.

This clinic is expanding to be open Monday-Saturday in 2026.

Earliest shift start time is 4 : 15am

Latest closing shift end is 8 : 30pm

Saturdays are rotated & DaVita is closed on Sundays

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care

Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment

Set up and maintain dialysis equipment

Record vital signs and patient data

Educate patients on treatment and kidney health

Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment

Physically able to work long shifts on your feet

Willing to float between local clinics if needed

Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred : CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
