Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. MAPEI is looking for a Spanish Language Editor to primarily manage Spanish-language translations. In this role you will support our Marketing Department by editing bilingual materials and ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Edit a variety of marketing content, including brochures, labels, ads, eblasts, data sheets and corporate materials, using MAPEI’s editorial style.
  • Coordinate and manage English-to-Spanish translations through self-translation, translation software or third-party vendors.
  • Verify facts, figures and measurements across multiple sources (including internal documentation and online research).
  • Ensure correct usage of trademark and registration symbols.
  • Audit our websites to maintain up-to-date and accurate language content.
  • Maintain a Spanish-English database using translation software tools.
  • Collaborate with authors and team members to resolve unclear or inaccurate content.
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and marketing meetings.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field, plus 2 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with translation software, electronic proofing tools, and working in a Windows environment.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Valid . driver’s license
